One of the most consistent traits we see in our Emissary Advisors is a desire to give back to the community.
For some Emissaries, like Thomas Martin, this involves creating a venue for large enterprises and technology vendors to reach each other more effectively. For others, like Jodi Watson, it involves giving their time to worthy organizations who are creating positive change in the world.
In countless other ways, our Emissaries are offering their guidance – to everyone from students to start-ups – in order to give direction to those who need it. We’re fortunate to have thousands of individuals who are all, in one way or another, sharing their value with those around them.
To honor and expand upon of all the ways Emissaries give back to the community, we now offer the option for Emissaries to donate their engagement fees to the charity of their choice.
When setting up their profiles, Emissary advisors can enter donation information for any verified charitable organization classified as a 501(c)(3) in the “Payment information” section of their profile Account Settings, and Emissary will send the advisor’s fee as a donation to that organization.
And, to express our gratitude to any Emissary who donates, we will match every donation up to $250.
We continue to believe in the transformative power of human relationships, both inside and outside of our engagements. It’s not only our pleasure, but our mission to create opportunities for people to guide and support others, and this is a clear step forward on that path.
