About the role
The Account Manager role (AM) is a critical resource in the growth, development, and expansion of our client base. The AM will be responsible to develop account-specific growth plans in collaboration with other internal stakeholders, meet bookings targets for all accounts assigned and support the acquisition of newly acquired accounts. As the primary client-facing resource, the AM will be accountable for overseeing contract engagement and fulfillment in addition to their responsibilities to manage full sales cycle growth opportunities. The position is remote.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop account growth plans that exceed client-specific growth targets
- Utilize Salesforce.com to manage full sales cycle opportunities
- Conduct regular and routine client business reviews focused on client expansion
- Be accountable to work intimately with the Client Engagement team to monitor contract fulfillment progress
- Collaborate with sales directors on strategic direction within assigned account base
- Promote the Emissary brand in the highest regard and be a Brand Ambassador to the market
- Utilize social selling skills and platforms to promote Emissary’s brand and create new relationships
Skills/Attributes Required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills
- Ability to embrace challenges and maintain flexibility in the face of uncertainty
- Highly organized, collaborative and detail-oriented
- Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our customers reach their goals
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights
- Strong Microsoft/G Suite skills, particularly Excel/Sheets and Powerpoint/Sheets
- Strong Salesforce.com and LinkedIn skills
Experience
- BA/BS degree in business administration, sales, marketing or related degrees
- 3-5 years in a B2B sales environment with a proven track record of revenue/bookings goal achievement
- Experience working at a startup is a plus!
