Today Emissary announced the hiring of a new CTO, Eric Fung, and a move to new corporate headquarters in the Flatiron district of Manhattan. The move comes after a year in which the company tripled the size of its client list and doubled the size of its employee base.
Fung was previously the CTO of SALIDO and led them through its acquisition by North American Bancard. He has served in leadership positions in other venture-backed companies, including Esaya, which was acquired by LinkedIn, as well as Refinery29, where he served as the Head of Product and Engineering. Fung was also a former Global Practice Director at Symantec on their Application Performance Management consulting team.
“I’m excited to be joining Emissary at such a perfect time. I’m looking forward to helping the company scale their product offering and achieve the goal of transforming the way people work with human intelligence,” said Fung.
Emissary is a human intelligence network that connects enterprise sales and marketing teams with senior executives who have recently left their target accounts.
The company’s network includes over 12,000 advisors, many of whom have recently held C-level roles at Fortune 500 firms. Members of the Emissary network can connect directly with advisors for 1:1 conversations, helping them better understand their customers so they can shorten sales cycles, uncover new opportunities, build longer-lasting relationships, and close more deals.
2018 was a year of monumental growth for Emissary.
Some of the largest and fastest growing companies in the world are now using the Emissary network to help them understand their accounts and navigate their most complex deals. They know that successfully navigating the sales process requires knowledge and inside insights from real people who really know the companies they sell to.
With a new headquarters and a talented new CTO in Eric, we are better positioned than ever to meet the needs of our customers and continue our path towards rapid growth.
